Start with a clear, evenly lit clip
Use a clip with one person, visible hair, and a background that contrasts with the hair. Fast movement, motion blur, hats, and hair crossing the face can make automatic selection less consistent from frame to frame. A short clip is a useful first check.
Open the video editor after unlocking access
The first-launch preview currently accepts a photo. After purchasing or restoring access, choose a video from the main editor entry screen. You do not need to upload the clip or create an account.
Choose a shade and check the preview
Start with a preset, adjust intensity, and check how the color looks against skin, clothing, and the background. A visual preview cannot predict bleaching requirements or an exact salon result.
Export and review the moving result
Save a new copy, then watch the exported clip through to check the hairline and moving edges. The original remains unchanged. Longer clips take more processing work, so start with a short section when evaluating the effect.
Photo refinement and video editing differ
The manual Add and Erase hair-selection brushes are for photos. They do not provide frame-by-frame video mask correction. If the video selection is poor, try a better-lit clip with less motion.
