Local Hair Color is designed to process photos on your iPhone or iPad. The app and this informational website have separate data practices, explained below.

The Local Hair Color app

Photos and image processing

Photos you select, hair selections, color previews, manual corrections, and exported edits are processed on your device. The app does not upload them to an app-operated server. It does not create an account or maintain an editor history. A new edited image is saved only when you explicitly choose to export it.

Data collection

The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, or a third-party crash-reporting SDK. The developer does not collect personal data from the app.

Purchases and restores

Subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and restores use Apple’s StoreKit service and may require a network connection. Apple processes purchase and account information under its own terms and privacy policy. The app receives verified entitlement status so it can determine whether paid features are available. The developer does not receive your full payment-card details.

Photos permission and exports

The system photo picker lets you choose one photo without granting the app broad library access. If you save an edited image, the app requests only the access needed to add that result to Photos. Exports are new images with location, source filename, camera serial, and unrelated source metadata removed. The original photo is never overwritten.

Local state

The app does not persist source photos, masks, thumbnails, photo identifiers, filenames, dimensions, or editor documents. Leaving the editor or replacing a photo discards the in-progress editing session.

This website

This website does not accept photo uploads and is not part of the app’s editing path. It offers optional Google Analytics to help the developer understand aggregate page use and referral sources. Google Analytics is not loaded unless you choose Allow analytics.

If you allow analytics, Google may receive information normally associated with a website visit, such as the page viewed, approximate location derived from the network connection, device and browser information, and referring page. No photo, hair selection, app-editing data, purchase entitlement, or support-email content is sent by this website to Google Analytics.

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it. Choosing Keep analytics off stores only that preference. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep analytics off. You can change your choice with the Analytics settings button in the footer.

Contacting support

If you email support, your email provider sends the address, message, and attachments you choose to include. This happens outside the app and is used to respond to your request. Do not attach private photos unless you intentionally choose to do so.

Changes

If the app or website data practices change, this policy and the relevant App Store privacy answers will be updated before the changed practice is introduced.
